Bonjour! Thank you for reading my profile.
I am a French Canadian speaker who, now, lives permanently in Australia. I’ve completed my studies in law (in French) and have practiced for four years as a lawyer in Montreal, Canada. French is my first language and I can speak fluently, as well as reading and writing in this language.
Upon arrival to Australia, I studied and completed a Post-Graduate Diploma in Journalism with distinction at RMIT University where I developed my communication and writing skills.
I have a passion for the French language and helping students to learn, improve and excel in the knowledge of this language. I have a sociable nature and I am an organised and dedicated person who enjoys helping students to succeed in their studies.
I have a current Victorian Driver Licence and a Working with Children Check. I can also provide phone and email support.
I am open to tutoring both primary and secondary students.

Rita is a vibrant and inspiring French tutor. Her flexibility with my needs as a year 12 french student has allowed me to improve in listening, speaking, reading and writing simultaneously. She provokes me to explain and consolidate my new understanding and she puts an immense amount of effort into the preparation of each lesson. The most valuable part of my lessons with Rita is the way in which she writes down all the questions I have regarding grammar structures and creates her own tasks to specifically target my weaknesses.
