The South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) is awarded to South Australian students upon the successful completion of their senior secondary education.
Students receive ‘credits’ that count towards the SACE from courses taken during their final two years of school: 20 credits for a year-long class, 10 credits for a semester-long class. In order to achieve the SACE, they must receive 200 credits in total. They also must attain at least a C standard for compulsory classes taken in Stage 1 (Year 11) and at least a C-minus for these classes in Stage 2 (Year 12).
For further information, explore the SACE website here.
