The Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) is awarded to students who successfully complete senior school in the state, typically at the end of year 12.
To receive a QCE, students must be awarded at least 20 credits from Units 1&2 (Year 11) and 3&4 (Year 12) subjects. 1 credit is assigned for each subject satisfactorily completed in Unit 1 and Unit 2, and 2 credits are assigned for each Unit 3&4 subject in which students receive a grade of C or higher. At least 12 credits must come from designated ‘core courses.’
For further information, explore the QCE website here.
