Hello! My name is Varsha, and I am currently reading towards a Master of Mathematics at Monash University. I also work part-time as a note-taker at University and a self-employed Maths tutor.
I previously graduated from the University of Birmingham with a first-class Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Mathematics. At University, I worked part-time as a Support Worker beginning as a note-taker for undergraduate and postgraduate students in courses ranging from engineering to egyptology. I gradually undertook further responsibility as sight guide and examination/practical support assistant.
I have been tutoring since April 2018, teaching a mix of online and in-person lessons. Over the years, I have completed over 650 lessons in Mathematics and English with 16 students from varying age groups, including Primary, KS3 and GCSE equivalents. Although most of my formal experience is as a tutor on another platform, in 2021, I taught children from socio-economically vulnerable backgrounds (with limited access to online education-given the impact of COVID-19) in my spare time. Please feel free to ask for references from my past students.
I am passionate about improving accessibility to and promoting inclusivity in STEM education. Feel free to contact me for student-tailored learning experiences at affordable prices.
