Hi! I am a first-year student studying Bachelor of Engineering (Mechatronics) and Bachelor of Science (Neuroscience) at the University of Sydney. I have a distinction (80 out of 100) WAM (weighted average mark) at University.
Teaching students and working with them to achieve their goals is my passion. I am confident, patient, approachable and friendly. I like to ensure that my students know that they can come to me if they have any questions and speak their mind without hesitation. I believe that a tutor must adapt to their student’s way of learning thus ensuring highly productive sessions. I aim to motivate my students and be the catalyst in their process of succeeding in whatever they take on. With a year of tutoring experience I have learnt that understanding your student’s needs and accomodating those in your teaching style is essential. I plan on making my lessons engaging with the aim to build confidence in my students.
I am passionate about English, Math and Science and am keen to make my students enjoy these subjects as much as I do. I believe that gaining knowledge is far more satisfying when you find it interesting and are actually engrossed in whatever you are learning. I aim to instil a perfectionist, can-do attitude in my students.
I am willing to work flexible hours. I am willing to take on students online as well as face to face. We can discuss what times suit the both of us and I will do my best to accomodate you to my schedule at a time most convenient to you.
