ABOUT ME!

Hey there! Welcome to my profile!

About me (and what I can do for YOU)

I completed my VCE in 2020 at Suzanne Cory High School with an ATAR of 97.65; obtaining a study score of 46 for Specialist Mathematics, 45 for Mathematical Methods and 42 for Physics. During my time at Suzanne Cory High School I was a recipient of multiple academic achievement awards and school community involvement awards. Currently, I am an undergraduate engineering student at Monash University and am part of the Masters Accelerated program.

It might already be evident but I love mathematics and physics; and as a tutor, I want to spread that passion and watch that enthusiasm grow in my students.

I am deeply aware that, having undertaken my VCE studies in mathematics and physics, that these subjects often force content on students without ever posing the questions of: How does this work? What do I even use this for? As a university-level engineering student I believe that in addition to helping students thrive in their VCE, I also have a duty in fostering an intuitive understanding for my students so that they can actually apply what they have learned beyond a test paper. Of course, this means sparking a sense of joy and interest towards the subjects.

My highest priority while tutoring is to cater to my student’s needs and ensure that they have a sound understanding of the study design requirements and ensure that I can guide them towards meeting these requirements. I am an engaging, charismatic, confident, friendly and passionate tutor with 2 years of tutoring experience behind me in a number of subject areas.

I provide:

  • lessons covering both content and how to efficiently and effectively use the CAS (an invaluable skill in VCE mathematics)
  • weekly course notes (covering the various topics of the the subjects I tutor)
  • comprehensive course notes
  • custom TI-nspire CAS functions and 24/7 CAS support
  • on-demand resources for a variety of concepts and subject areas
  • phone and email support (all week)

My schedule is flexible and if you would like to contact me to discuss a time; I will do my absolute best to accommodate you at a time that is convenient for you.
