Thanks for taking the time to have a look at my profile. I hope you can find the time to continue reading to let me show you why I’d be the perfect physics tutor for you
About Me & Qualifications
I am currently 2 years into my Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Melbourne majoring in mathematical physics, where I have attained above an 80% average, which means in addition to my study score of 43 I have two years of university physics knowledge at my disposal which ensures I know the VCE concepts in depth. This also guarantees that I will be able to find a multitude of ways to explain the subject material.
I achieved a study score of 43 in VCE English and an overall ATAR of 97.55 (Dux of Wangaratta High School), which demonstrates that I am able to express myself clearly and communicate ideas and concepts at a high standard, all of which are essential skills to building an engaging and effective tutor-student relationship.
Throughout my VCE and university studies I have been able to help my peers and friends with difficulties they faced in physics. This was something I thoroughly enjoyed and led me to consider becoming a tutor. I have extensive notes from my VCE and university studies and will share these resources with you to aid you through VCE physics.
I am very passionate about physics and know and understand that many students do not share this same passion. I know many students see physics as difficult and very maths based, however I assure you that I will be able to expand on the concepts you learn in class and will share with you the astonishing implications of physics that have kept me enthralled in this subject.
In my spare time I enjoy playing sport, in particular soccer, and viewing popular TV shows (Game of Thrones, House of Cards, and The Wire are among my favourites.) I also relish any chance I get to return to my hometown of Beechworth to catch up with friends and family.
