Hi there/ Bonjour!
My name is Suzie and I am a university student currently studying a Bachelor of Arts/International Relations at Monash in Clayton.
I graduated in 2015 from Gippsland Grammar with an ATAR of 95.9, receiving a raw study score of 42 in French which was scaled to 49.5.
I have studied French throughout highschool and completed two exchanges: one to Québec, Canada and one to Caen in Normady, France, in addition to other visits to France more recently. (Don’t worry, I speak with a very French accent though so you’ll be able to understand me!)
I am super friendly and approachable, organised and passionate. I believe in cultivating curiosity, finding engaging ways to approach learning and building student’s confidence in their language skills. I am to provide students with an opportunity to further their listening, comprehension and grammar skills by providing study strategies and resources, active engagement with speaking and writing exercises as well as conversational practise central their French language skills development and success in VCE.
MY LOCATION, COSTS AND AVAILABILITY!
I study at Monash Clayton and am located in the Mount Waverly area. This means I’m happy to offer the tutoring session at one of the libraries, cafés or outside areas on the Monash University Clayton Campus. Otherwise, I have my own car and am situated very close to public transport routes so am able to travel to somewhere closer to you, or even hold our sessions in the comfort of your own home at a small additional travel fee.
I charge only $45 per hour for one-on-one tutoring or $35 each for group sessions (which is a super fun way to get your friends involved to let them know!)
My availability is very flexible so I can more or less work around you to find the time that suits during the week. I am only unavailable Wednesdays before 2pm and Thursday until 6pm.
I can’t wait to meet you and get started. À bientôt!
