Hi! I obtained a 49 study score for Further Mathematics, a 48 study score for Literature, a 43 study score for Revolutions and a 42 study score for French in 2018 (Melbourne Girls Grammar School), achieving an ATAR of 99.75. I am now majoring in International Relations at Brown University in the USA. I have a real passion for the subjects I tutor, one I hope to share with others.
My top priority is to cater to the needs of the student and ensure they have an excellent grasp of the content. I am an engaging, open and committed tutor. In addition, as a recent graduate, I still remember the tips and tricks I used to achieve success.
I provide students with comprehensive notes, and I offer phone and email support as well as essay correction services 7 days a week.
Thanks for reading my profile, and I hope to hear from you soon!
MY LOCATION, COSTS AND AVAILABILITY!
Due to the COVID-19 situation I am now back in Australia! I’m living with family in Gisborne, a town about 45 minutes outside of Melbourne. My postcode is not locked down, so I am available to do in-person tutoring if social distancing and mask requirements are adhered to, but am currently conducting most of my sessions online, over Skype or Zoom. I’m available to tutor between 10am and 10pm, Monday to Sunday, I charge $40 an hour, and $30 per hour per person for groups of two or more students. I hold a valid Working With Children and Police Check.
She was great. Passionate about English, very helpful and knowledgeable the subject she was tutoring. and also punctual and established rapport with my son very quickly. The only draw back , was that she is leaving to go o/s to study and that is so exciting for her- great opportunity but we would have loved to have an ongoing tutoring arrangement with her – we hadn’t realised she was moving from Australia.
Sophie is a nice and professional tutor. My daughter likes her.
