Hi there! Thank you for taking the interest to look at my profile.
My name is Sol and I graduated Year 12 in 2017 with an ATAR of 99.6 and the ATAR Dux award of my school. I also received a state Certificate of Excellence in Modern History and the prize for top score at my school in English Literature, Economics, Modern History, Philosophy and Ethics and Visual Arts. Currently, I am at UWA studying a Bachelor of Philosophy majoring in Professional Economics. As a recent graduate I am familiar with the new curriculum and experienced in the ATAR pathways. I aim to help students be comfortable with their subjects to attain the best results possible.
While in high school, I did extracurricular programs at Curtin University and so I can guarantee I am well rounded and knowledgeable about the subjects which I teach. I was a library volunteer and part of a displays committee which involved cooperating, guiding and working with kids my age and lower. Other extracurricular activities included Philosophy Club, Book Club, tutoring and babysitting, all which helped me develop empathy, patience and leadership skills.
For students on ATAR pathways I offer help in Economics, English, Literature, Philosophy and Ethics, Modern History, Visual Arts and Study Skills. For those under Year 10 I can help with any of the above, Humanities & Social Sciences, English and Mathematics. I offer not only competitive rates but email and phone support seven days a week as required, in addition to providing my students with notes, resources and most importantly, the confidence to do well!
