Hi! I’m Sarah, a maths and accounting tutor based in Aspendale. I achieved an ATAR of 94.35 in 2014, and my Higher Level subjects were: Accounting, Mathematical Methods, Specialist Maths, English, Psychology and PE. Since leaving school, I have completed a commerce degree at Monash University. and worked at a top 4 Accounting firm. After working for some time, I realised that my true passion was in teaching and I am now currently completing a minor in mathematics at Monash University in order to enter into a Masters of Teaching in the future.
I have always loved helping others learn, and think that every student has the possibility to excel at any subject. I understand that each student will learn differently, and so I try to explain concepts in a way that makes sense to the individual.
I am based in Aspendale and have access to my own car, and so I am more than happy to travel and visit you to undertake in-person lessons.
I am flexible with times, so I am happy to discuss a time/place that suits you and your child best.
Please contact me to organise tutoring in either accounting or mathematics!

I really like my one on one time time with Sarah teaching me I learn more this way, I feel I can ask her questions without be judged. And she explains it in a way I can understand and has good notes for me to keep learn from.
I really love my Tutor – Sarah she explains maths so I can understand it. She’s very nice and speaks clearly. I’m looking forward to more maths tutor lessons this year.
Sarah has some great teaching methods that makes math more understandable. Before every test we revise the topic together, making notes that allow me to focus on the important aspects of the topic. This assistance is great and I feel very prepared for the tests. Due to the COVID-19 virus we temporarily changed the sessions. Sarah is now tutoring me via a video link called zoom, which has been even more important with the schools now closed.
