Hi there, how are you? Thank you for taking time in your busy day to view my profile.
I was a student just like you who was hoping to achieve an amazing SACE score that I would be proud of. Through hard work, determination and having the right support around me, I was able to achieve an ATAR of 99.45 with a merit in Chemistry (20/20) and Math Studies (19.8/20), A+ in Biology (19.4/20) and an A in Geography (18.6/20). I have also studied Biology and Chemistry at a university level and have achieved High distinctions for both, allowing me to provide you with comprehensive knowledge to put you a cut above every other student. I believe I have the proper aptitude and attitude to allow potential students to achieve their goal- whatever they may be. Through positivity and hard, collaborative work, I hope to bring out the best in my students.
Furthermore, I have a great passion for the sciences and mathematics and hope to instil this passion in fellow students. I will strive to create a fun, yet studious working environment to allow the student to achieve their desires but also enjoy the process. I’ve often been described as buoyant and enthusiastic when it comes to communicating the content of the subjects mentioned above, which can hopefully spark something within you to succeed!
I’ve realised that many people find the content in textbooks dry and hard to conceptualise but I’m here to change that. With my refined approach from over two years of tutoring, I aim to help any student find his/her passion in the subject.
In fact, one of my students was able to improve their grade in Chemistry a whole grade band- from a B average to a solid A by changing their approach – with similar improvement seen in my other students. I’m currently well-versed with the curriculum taught for Stage 1 and 2 Chemistry, Biology and Math Studies and aim to address all the criteria set for each subject by the SACE board.
If you happen to be struggling outside of tutoring hours, don’t worry. I’m available 7 days a week for email and phone support to work through any questions you may have.
I live in Northgate (a Northern suburb), and I’m happy to tutor from my place or yours- whichever is more convenient. I find however, from past experience, a neutral location such as the library in the city is more conducive to learning. I’m available 7 days a week, but it would be advisable to check my schedule to see when its best to tutor. I will try my utmost to accommodate to your scheduling needs.
I possess a valid DCSI police-check clearance for working with children and I have a South Australian driving license to allow tutoring locations to be more flexible.
I am only charging $40 per hour and the first half hour of your first lesson is free!!! Contact me today so we can start tutoring and allow you to achieve the results you always dreamed of!
