ABOUT ME

I’m currently a university student in my second year of bachelor of psychology honours at UNSW. I graduated high school in 2019 with an atar of 98.2 as being an all rounder (90+ band 6 in all subjects) in Japanese continuers, English, 2U mathematics, IPT and Visual Arts. I strongly believe that my achievements were thanks to the tutors who helped me along the way and I hope to do the same for current students. It is a common misconception that choosing subjects with high scaling is the key to a high atar but I believe choosing subjects you enjoy and focusing on getting good grades and ranking within those subjects makes for a less stressful experience. I have experience tutoring both younger ages in English and maths as well as year 12 students in preparation for the HSC. I do my best to cater to each student so they learn in a way that suits them. I also can provide useful tips in time management and study guides that maximises the students learning and results while still having time to enjoy their high school experience.

Online

My preference is online teaching at $40 per hour and $50 for group lessons for high school students. I recommend 2 hours for one session if the subject is mathematics depending on how much they are struggling.

Primary school students will be $35 per hour and $45 for group lessons.

I can teach in person if preferred at the same rate if the student is willing to come to my place.

If the student would like to be taught at their home or near their school, depending on the area there will be an additional fee of up to $10.

LOCATION AND AVAILABILITY

If the preference is in person, I reside in Artarmon/Chatswood. I am not too fussy about the area if the student prefers I come to them but the additional cost will differ accordingly.

I work all day Friday Saturday Sunday and my uni schedule depends on the term. I am generally available Mondays to Thursdays.
