Having completed my VCE in the COVID-19 focused world of 2020, I understand the immense that challenge that students can face whilst working through their studies. Graduating with an ATAR of 99.85, with two perfect study scores of 50 (English Language and Geography) and two scores of 49 (English and Health and Human Development), a 43 in Italian and 42 in Biology, I leave secondary school having understood what it takes to succeed. VCE is simply a lock that needs to be carefully picked. When done correctly, students, as I am evidence of myself, unlock all of their own potential. This is fundamental to my tutoring philosophy. I ask myself, what is this person’s goal, and what are the barriers that might prevent them from reaching that goal? Then, having understood the student’s own needs, I work with students to unlock their own capacities in a given subject.
With two full years of tutoring behind me, both formally and informally, and my own experiences, I can adapt to various learning styles with ease, and view them as necessary to facilitating effective tutoring. Having written my own exams and resources to complete for revision, I have accrued an extensive range of resources that I am certain are part of the pathway to success. In addition, I’ve tutored students in Years 7-10 Science and English before and am able to communicate with confidence with my students. I am available for lessons both online, over digital platforms, or, in person if that is preferable.
I am incredibly passionate about sharing my knowledge and skills with others, and view it as an obligation that my learnings benefit others as well.
Asides from offering lessons, I make myself available for students out of hours for marking/feedback for student work, which is something I am used to doing, having done so by becoming an expert in applying assessment criteria over the course of the years for my peers.
I provide students with:
- A great revision programme
- Practice materials
- Exam questions
- All the resources that they need to succeed for no additional cost!
- Phone and email support across all days of the week
I am flexible with my time schedule; we could discuss a time that is suitable for us both. I will do my utmost best to accommodate you to my schedule.
