About James

Hi there!

My name is James and I graduated from Overnewton Anglican Community College in 2016 with an ATAR of 96.65. I am currently in my first year of a Bachelor of Commerce at The University of Melbourne, and have my eyes set on a career as an international lawyer.

I am able to tutor Years 11 and 12 Literature and History: Revolutions (American and Russian Revolutions). I received a Raw Study Score of 43 for both of these subjects. Also, as an added bonus, you get to hear my views on philosophy and politics…FOR FREE!

As a fresh VCE graduate, I am still quite connected to the VCE years, and can therefore provide a deep insight into its workings, as both a tutor and as a mentor.

I also tutor Prep to Year 10 English, mathematics and humanities, as well as selective-entry and NAPLAN preparation.

Success throughout school comes down to knowledge and enthusiasm. These are the two primary things I will be bringing to every tutoring session, in the hope that your own knowledge and enthusiasm expand beyond all boundaries.

I am located in South-East of Melbourne, so there are a number of suburbs in which I can tutor. However, the most significant five are Mulgrave, Burwood, Glen Waverley, Clayton and Caulfield.

Rates are as follows:

  • For a one-on-one lesson, $45 per hour per person.
  • For a group lesson (two or more), $35 per hour per person.
  • 7-day phone and email assistance, free of charge.

I look forward to meeting you, and forming a great friendship.

See you on the other side!

James.
