Hey there! Thanks for taking the time to read my profile.
I graduated from Caulfield Grammar School in 2018, receiving a 42 in Italian; 40 in Geography; 37 in English; and 37 in Global Politics. I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Global Studies at Monash University, specialising in one of my passions: Italian Studies.
Over my time in high school I developed a set of effective study skills in what works and doesn’t work best when studying not only in the final year of VCE but that would ultimately make the transition into further studies a smooth one.
As mentioned before, I have a great passion for Italian studies. I have always immersed myself in my own maternal Italian heritage and this ultimately made studying Italian in VCE a fun learning experience, and I definitely hope I can bring this to my students.
One of my other passions is the global world and the study of the intercultural planet we live on. Having an open mind when studying Geography and Global Politics is key – sometimes the content can get ahead of you and you feel like you’re getting lost, but you can always stop that. I completed VCE Geography in Year 11, so I know how to deal with the pressure. Unfortunately VCE is a very stressful and unenjoyable learning experience for most students, so to me one of the important parts of the tutoring time with a student is taking a step back and settling that stress down first.
Primary school subjects: Definitely one of the most enjoyable times throughout the schooling life! I’m able to help these younger student with their subjects, mostly in the core subjects (depending on the school) such as Mathematics and Inquiry Studies.
I love learning, and one of the best things about learning is helping others do the same. I love working together for one’s successes and I hope the student can reach their personal goals in their studies with me. Let’s do this!
