I have worked as both a contracted and private tutor for some time now. This has helped me develop such skills as one-on-one communication with students that creates a professional teacher/student relationship, editing assignments and advising on improvements, and understanding a student’s frustrations or struggles that can be experienced when learning.
I am currently studying the Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Journalism & Professional Writing at the University of South Australia. I am now in my second year, and I intend to complete the degree in 2022. I have gained numerous academic achievements. In 2016, I was awarded an Academic Merit for being in the Top 10% of the Year 11 Cohort. In 2017, upon successfully completing my SACE, I was awarded an Effort Award for General Mathematics and the Dux for Modern History. I also received a scaled score of 17.8 out of 20 for English Literary Studies and 8.8 out of 10 for Research Project. My ATAR was 90.30, which allowed me to enter my highly competitive degree.
When I am not studying, I partake in many of my hobbies and interests. I love going to the cinema to see new release films, many of which I post reviews of online. I enjoy gaming, especially open-world and RPGs. I am an amateur bass player, but I have hopes of bettering my skills on the instrument. I am also an AFL fan and regularly attend Crows games. My family owns a beach house at Goolwa, which I go to occasionally on weekends, where I engage in a variety of activities like bike riding, canoeing, fishing, or going to the local beach for a surf. But most of all, I love spending my time with my friends.
