VCE can be an extremely challenging time and the current climate has only made it harder. I was lucky enough to be provided with many great tips, tricks and resources during my VCE journey and I want to pass these onto you guys! I am dedicated to helping you achieve the best grades possible and maximise your potential!
Thank you for coming to my page and taking the time to read my profile!
I graduated high school in 2019 and am offering tutoring for Chemistry, English, Media at all year levels alongside Biology at all levels except 1/2. I achieved an ATAR of 97.45. My study scores are as follows
- 3/4 English – Scaled 44.84
- 3/4 Chemistry – Scaled 44.40
- 3/4 Media – Scaled 42.59
- 3/4 Biology – Scaled 41.95
I also had my SAT for VCE Media make Top Screen – a VCE Media competition in which any student can submit their film. I was one of 15 chosen to have their films shown at ACMI, The Capital Theatre etc. I am further lucky enough to have the Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship at Swinburne University, currently studying a bachelor of Film & Television.
As demonstrated by the wide range of subjects I studied, I am passionate about a variety of subjects and areas of interests. My aim through tutoring is to enable you guys to achieve your true potential – spreading the knowledge, tips and tricks I learnt directly to you so that you can have similar and greater success than I did.
At the forefront of my intentions is to make sure that students understand application. VCE and all year levels are constantly moving towards more application-based exams, especially in science-based subjects, and one of the biggest learning curves students face is applying the knowledge that they know to questions. It is never usually the issue that students don’t KNOW the content but they struggle with specificity and application. I believe that my journey through VCE and what I learnt from that experience is invaluable when it comes to addressing problems such as the one above.
I am a confident, engaging and light-hearted tutor and have a strong belief that anyone, anyone, can excel in science subjects like Biology and Chemistry, design-based subjects like Media and of course English. I will bring a sense of positivity and make sure that the most is achieved out of every session. From sessions that focus more on content, to those that work on application and to those that work on exam question answering I provide students a comprehensive revision and learning program to help them succeed. I am further available 24/7, 7 days a week to contact in regards to any queries and questions you may have.
I am extremely flexible with my schedule and will be able to accomodate you in pretty much any circumstance. I offer both ONLINE and IN-PERSON Tutoring and have been working to maximise how I conduct my online sessions to make sure they are not wasted in any way.
