Hi there! Thanks for taking the time to visit my profile.
I studied mathematics and physics scoring over 90% at the Open University in England and taught these subjects at a High School in Switzerland for several years. I have been tutoring for over 12 years now, and have helped countless students to achieve results way beyond their expectations! I love teaching and always strive to infuse this passion into my students. Obviously, my goal is to make sure my student fully comprehends the subject he/she is studying, but I aim to do so in a friendly, fun, and encouraging way.
Okay, let’s face it… Maths and Physics aren’t the easiest subjects for most, and sadly, they’re often not the most interesting either… But I disagree! When my students experience those priceless moments where something has “clicked”, they actually start enjoying the subject more. Gradually, their confidence is boosted which is something that can have a tremendous impact on their results.
In fact, one of my students went on to study a Bachelor’s degree at EPFL in Switzerland – one of the most prestigious science Universities in Europe. This makes me proud as a tutor, and I sincerely hope to share this passion I have for many years to come.
Some of the main areas I am skilled in include the following:
- Mathematical analysis
- Statistics and probability
- Logic and strategy
- Mathematical modelling
- Quantum mechanics
Additional features that I offer to students include being able to contact me by phone or email for any support – 7 days a week! (Please don’t ring me at 2am though…!) Students have, at times, sent me their work by email, and I am happy to go through their work and write some upbuilding comments to further enhance their skills. Last but not least, I have a ridiculous amount of resources that I am willing to share (free of charge) if additional theory or exercises are required. So if you need help with General Math, Further Math, Math Methods, Specialist, Physics or anything similar, please get in touch, and start improving right away!
