Thank you for coming to visit my profile! I believe that all students can succeed and increase their confidence with a tutor that is fun and engaging, but also studious, which is something I can provide for you!

My name is Ainsley and I completed VCE in 2017 with an ATAR of 92.35. I achieved study scores of 42 in Legal Studies, 41 in Health & Human Development and 40 in Psychology. I am very passionate about these subjects and am currently studying a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours). As I have recently been through the VCE system, I understand the expectations and requirements for assessments and exams and ensure that my lessons are tailored to each of my students’ goals, needs, and learning styles. I hope for my students to feel more confident with their studies and find a passion for the subjects through our lessons!

I am very familiar with the curriculum of Units 3/4 Psychology, Legal Studies, and Health and Human Development. I have the skills in a range of areas that are necessary in these studies, including:

  • Familiarisation with the study design
  • SAC and exam preparation
  • Methods to apply and remember concepts
  • Great depth of knowledge of concepts
  • Other necessary components of the curriculum

As a tutor, I offer phone and email support 7 days a week for any of my students to contact me should they have any questions or queries throughout the week. I will therefore be able to give you assistance as you need it outside of a lesson. I will supply you with my notes as well as other useful resources that will greatly assist you in your studies both in and out of tutoring sessions. I will provide you with as many resources as I can to further develop your knowledge and to cater for all individual learning styles! My goal is to help you achieve success and support you by providing as much help as you require to maximise your scores!

I am located in Blackburn South and am happy to travel to the nearby and surrounding Eastern Suburbs. I can come to you for lessons or meet you at a public library. I am also available for online tutoring. I will do my utmost best to accommodate your needs and availability! I also hold a valid Working with Children’s Check.

I am only charging $45 per hour for my tutoring services, or $40 for online tutoring. I charge an additional $5 travel fee should I have to drive out of my area to tutor students. In this time I will assist you with any questions you have, as well as cover all areas of the study design in-depth with access to a variety of resources for SAC and exam preparation including practice questions, tips, and content revision.

I look forward to hearing from you so I can support you in achieving your goals this year!

"Ainsley is very polite, always punctual and very patient and enthusiastic in her tutoring of Sean. He actually looks forward to his legal studies at school and we have been having great discussions about the law. Ainsley is very pleasant and has been helping Sean a great deal in legal and psychology." - Karen, Parent
