Hi, I’m Tom. I’m mainly a maths tutor, and I’m here to help you UNDERSTAND THINGS, and then get GOOD at DOING those THINGS. You will also acquire SEVERAL ADDITIONAL FINGERS, TWO EXTRA NOSTRILS, and your NECK will LENGTHEN EXPONENTIALLY. SCROLL DOWN TO LEARN MORE!
Now that I’ve got your attention:
I tutor VCE Maths Methods, and 7-10 maths, physics and chemistry. I also tutor primary school maths and science.
I’m originally from Darwin, currently studying a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering / Applied Chemistry at RMIT. I finished SACE year 12 in 2017 with a 99/100 for Math Methods, 99.5/100 for Physics and 97.5/100 for Chemistry.
Of course, scores don’t make a good tutor – there are a lot of smart academics at uni who’ve done groundbreaking research, yet you’ll still find me whining about lecturers after class. With that in mind, I am someone who can explain what my lecturers sometimes can’t.
As a tutor, I’m logical, engaging and energetic. I’ll make sure you’re following along with whatever annoying concept I’m trying to explain. I also single-handedly prevented two of my friends from failing year 12 chem by tutoring them, and they still haven’t paid me!!
Hopefully you’ll consider me as a tutor, thanks.
(i had too much fun writing this bio)
