Hi everyone! My name is Teresa. I am a public health and medical researcher specialising in implementation and evaluation research, clinical trials, epidemiology, and quantitative and qualitative research. I graduated from Bachelor of Medical Science (2014), Master of Neuroscience (2016), and Master of Public Health (2019) (achieved distinction in all of these degrees) and have completed an independent dissertation thesis of my own on young people’s health literacy and education.
I completed my HSC in 2011 and achieved an ATAR of 94.25. I have taught/tutored numerous students in primary and high school subjects since 2014, tailored to the students’ academic and skills. I am passionate in motivating young people to be the best version of themselves, whether it is on academic schooling and personal/professional development skills to build their self-confidence and achieve the best scores they are capable of. I believe every student have their own unique talents and potential to show the world. And I am so keen to kick-start academic and skills plan with any students I take onboard.
I am able to tutor students both online (via Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Hangouts) and in-person. I am happy to tutor students in my home; I recently just have a newly refurbished study room where I can use this as my tutoring space.
I tutor in the following subjects: Year K-10 English, Mathematics, Science; NSW Syllabus Year 11-12 Mathematics Standard, Mathematics Advanced, Mathematics Extension 1, Chemistry and Biology.
