My schooling was back in the 70s in Lismore, NSW. I studied for my PhD in astronomy at ANU in Canberra, and went on to an academic career researching astronomy and physics, before moving into aerospace engineering (on the FedSat project). I taught systems engineering at University of South Australia for 7 years until 2014. Now I am studying counselling and psychotherapy at Adelaide University. I love all things science and am passionate about helping students achieve their best in science.
My aim in tutoring is to help students understand the fundamentals of the subject, and help them comprehend the deeper connections with reality. I want to help students love the subject as much as I do.
I will help by providing dot-point notes from our sessions; worked examples; practice questions for exams and revision; support throughout the week via phone and email, and I am flexible about how and when we meet.
