Hi there! My name is Stacey, a VCE Psychology (38) Tutor (ATAR 90.25) and I am here to help you reach your goals!

Hi! Thank you for clicking on my profile!

I completed VCE in 2017, so I am up to date with the current Psychology study design. I attained a study score of 38 in Psychology which was also the highest score for that subject at my school (out of 50+ Psychology students). I achieved an A+ in the exam and I can use my mistakes from SACs to help you avoid them! I have comprehensive notes and heaps of practice exams, as well as a passion for this subject and a goal to make it interesting for everyone.

My passion for psychology has continued into my tertiary education. I am currently in my third year of a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours stream) with the goal of becoming a clinical psychologist. I am originally from Melbourne, however I am now studying abroad at Erasmus University Rotterdam in the Netherlands, hence why I am only available for online tutoring!  As for my current university scores, I have been achieving Distinctions and High Distinctions in all of my subjects so far.

My goal is to ensure you receive the best tutoring to achieve your best marks, as I know from experience how stressful and overwhelming VCE can be! I have also had experience tutoring six Year 12 VCE Psychology students last year, which has equipped me with more resources and practice exams for you to use to prepare for your SACs and the final exam.

Some outcomes on the study design can be tedious and boring, but through many different mediums (Kahoots, videos, notes, posters, podcasts, lectures, etc.) it can be fun or at the very least, easier to understand. My aim is for students to not just memorise the material, but to know it so that revision for exams is easier!

I am available for support via text or email 7 days each week, so if there are any questions during the week, I will be available to help!

I hold a valid Working with Children’s Check and I also have two younger sisters (one of them is in Year 12 this year as well!), so I am used to relating to younger people and helping them with their schoolwork.

I am only charging $30 per hour as I want this service to be accessible to everyone, however, I am living out of home and need to be able to support myself. In addition to this I will give you all my study resources from last year including lecture notes (from lectures that cost $50 – $80 to attend), my own notes, practice exams and access to resources I found useful, as well as access to notes on Quizlet. I am also able to provide further information on the topics in VCE Psychology as I am currently still studying psych!

My first meeting with you online will be a free, half-hour session where we discuss your current results and goals for the future. This is to ensure that I am the perfect tutor for you, without you having to commit to anything straight away!

I will also be moving back to Australia in August, so if you live near Geelong or Melbourne, we may be able to switch to in-person tutoring in the lead up to the exam.

Thank you for reading my profile, I look forward to helping you achieve your best scores this year!
