Hi! I am Ruby, a first year Biomed student at Melbourne University, and would love the opportunity to tutor students aiming to achieve top marks at school. My goal as a tutor is to be engaging and enthusiastic whilst motivating my students to achieve their full potential. I finished VCE in 2020 with an ATAR of 99.25 which included raw study scores: English-45, Chemistry-41, Mathematical Methods-43, Specialist Maths-39.
I am happy to tutor in any of these 4 subjects, as well as maths, english and science for Primary School and Year 7-10. I am also happy to travel to you or do online sessions.
Throughout Year 12 I often found myself helping my peers understand concepts which is where my passion for teaching began. I will use this passion I gained to help you achieve your best. I also have extensive notes, practice tests and exams that can be provided to each student to aid in their learning.
VCE is a journey that although difficult, has the potential to be a rewarding experience of which students can understand their passions and possibilities for the future. My goal as a tutor is to foster a positive relationship between students and their subjects, enthusiastic and passionate about the work that they are doing. I believe that you are able to achieve much better results if you are excited about what you are learning and this would be my aim as a tutor.
MY LOCATION, COSTS AND AVAILABILITY!
I am located in Bulleen and prefer to tutor at Balwyn and Kew libraries, but I am willing to do home visits by negotiation. I am also willing to do online tutoring.
I am currently waiting for my university schedule, so would contact you regarding a time that is suitable.
I charge $55 per hour for my tutoring sessions.
If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to get in touch as I will be happy to hear from you!
They are really good at explaining concepts for both methods and Chem and helped me a lot already in 1 lesson. She also had a lot of notes and was clearly very prepared for the lesson.
