I’m Roy and I’m a 3rd year student at RMIT, I’m currently doing a Double Bachelor of Applied Sciences, Majoring in Physics and Nanotechnology which focuses largely on classes in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry. I’m passing with a GPA of 4.0 which means receiving High Distinctions for every class every semester, I also completed VCE in 2015 where my classes included Maths Methods, Physics, Economics, English Language, Psychology and Music Styles and Composition.
During 2016 I lived in France, while working in restaurants I also tutored children in English, this taught me a lot of patience with young children and different way to help out students.
I have a great passion for all the topics I cover at university and have always enjoyed helping out students and fellow class mates, tutoring is something I enjoy as I get to see someone else gain the happiness of succeeding in their studies while I also get to utilise the knowledge I’ve worked so hard to acquire.
My goal as a tutor is to help students break down problems they’re facing with their studies so they can then understand what they’re missing or where they lack understanding, these problems could include, for example; course content they missed or didn’t understand in class, helping to build good study habits or setting up a study schedule before a test, working on these gaps in knowledge is essential to do well and continue progressing in their own time
I can provide students with:
– a great revision programme/schedule
– practice material
– exam questions
– Phone and email support 7 days a week
