Hello! Thanks for taking the time to visit my profile.
My name is Rosie, and I am studying a Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) at RMIT. I graduated from Lauriston Girls’ School in 2013 with an ATAR of 98.5. I achieved the highest study score in Psychology in my graduating class at school, with a raw study score of 44. I also attained a raw study score of 48 in Studio Arts. Although I did not study Sociology at school, I have achieved high marks in the subject at a tertiary level, and will graduate with a minor in Sociology. In my university studies I have a distinction average grade, and consistently achieve high marks in written expression for my reports and essays.
In my spare time, I volunteer at Elwood College as a learning support facilitator. In this role, I help develop students’ literacy skills and confidence in the classroom, with the aim of improving student outcomes and academic abilities. I also enjoy baking and patisserie, and learning aerial circus tricks in my Lyra classes.
I am a friendly and supportive teacher who focuses on encouraging students to develop a comprehensive understanding of their subject material and its underlying concepts. As a psychology student, I understand different forms of learning, and focus on tailoring each session to your specific needs. I have undertaken units on Developmental, Social and Cognitive psychology at University, and have a thorough understanding of the variables that can affect memory, stress levels, and academic performance. I will work with each student to develop an individual plan to help them reach their academic goals, and will help them refine and improve general study skills.
I will provide you with access to my comprehensive notes and example questions, and will show you my Studio Art folios and exploration proposal. I will be available via text and email for any quick questions or issues you may have outside of our sessions.

I charge only $40 per hour for private tutoring, and $25 per person, per hour, for group tutoring. For our first session, I’ll provide a $10 discount.
I look forward to hearing from you to discuss how I can help you achieve your study goals this year.
