Hi! Thank you so much for taking the time and visiting my profile. My name is Molly, a university student at the University of Melbourne, with tutoring experience and a love of learning and teaching!
I tutor History: Revolutions (Units 3/4), Legal Studies (Units 1-4) and Music Theory (Year 7-12). I am a 2018 graduate and am familiar with all the current study designs for these subjects. In 2018 I received College DUX for Revolutions and a 42 study score (top 8% of the state). For Legal Studies I received a 41 study score (also top 8% of the state). Also, in 2018 I received an A+ on my written theory exam for Unit 3/4 Music Performance. My final ATAR was 90.75 (top 9-10% of the state).
I received these top grades while also being my College Music Captain, and I can share my top tips for each subject but also how to succeed in VCE, while having study and life balance.
I have 8 months of VCE tutoring experience, and over 4 years of tutoring in younger years. I also have experience working for a music education company and can assure you I am always updated with current curriculum.
I love helping all my students, whether in person or online, and cater to their needs. I do this through creating individual lesson plans, going through exam strategies, giving practice activities, all personalised to my students’ learning types and personal goals.
I also provide my students (for no extra cost) resources including:
- practice questions
- practice SACs
- practice exams
- complete course notes
- specialised notes and revision tools
