Hello there! Thank you for taking the time to visit my profile page.
I attained an ATAR score of 88.25 in 2017 (Churchlands Senior High School), and came out as the second best Ancient History student in my entire year, achieving a final exam result of 83%. Enough to achieve a Certificate of Merit after High School. Making sure that my students understand how to achieve the best possible result in this subject is my number one concern, and I do this in a fun and engaging manner. I thoroughly enjoy teaching Ancient History. It is currently my first major in university, and I have an absolute passion for it. I’m constantly reading up on various ancient figures and events in my spare time. It is this passion that makes me an effective and engaging tutor.
I have access to all of the ancient history textbooks required for this unit, as well as more modern ones. I am aware of the current curriculum for Year 11 and 12 Ancient History, and am skilled in many areas, which include:
- Bronze Age Greece: The Minoan and Mycenaean Civilizations
- The Destruction of Santorini
- The Fall of Troy
- The First and Greco-Persian Wars
- The formation, rise and ensuing dominance of the Delian League
- Athenian politics, democracy and imperialism
- The First Peloponnesian War
- The Peloponnesian War (all of its phases and major events)
Part of my offering includes a completely free first lesson. Should you choose to continue tutoring with me, phone and email support will be available 7 days per week as well as access to all notes.
For tutoring lessons, I can come to you or we can meet at a public place, like a library, whichever you choose. I am available Friday, Saturday and Sundays, all day. Please check the times when I am available to tutor you, and I will do my best to accommodate you into my schedule.
I also hold a valid Working with Children’s Check.
I am only charging $40 per hour, with the first lesson being absolutely free, as stated before. Contact me today, and achieve the best possible result you can in Ancient History.
