My name is Lola and I have just completed year 12 (2020) with a 93.10 ATAR and a RAW 50 in Health and Human Development! I also studied English, Further Mathematics, Japanese, Chemistry and Physical Education (in year 11).
HHD is a great subject with the potential for you to do extremely well if you learn the correct ways to answer and breakdown exam and SAC questions. I will teach you how to do exactly this, as well as give you the skills to form A+ answers for even the most ambiguous and difficult questions! We will focus on working to time to ensure you begin your exam preparation from the start of the year as well as focus on past exam questions each week/session.
I am a very confident and compassionate person who is extremely passionate about the HHD subject. I have good availability and can travel to student’s homes and/or meet in libraries. My scores are a direct reflection of the mantra I lived by in high school ‘quality over quantity’; although I worked hard and put in the hours, I spoke to many teachers and did my research to develop the best way for me to learn and remember content without spending pointless hours exhausting myself – I am confident I can help other students do the same.
I offer both in-person and online tutoring as well as group sessions if desired.
I provide students with:
- My personal comprehensive set of notes including A+ sample responses and examples
- Exam questions
- Practice SAC and question marking
- Assistance in timetabling/scheduling for all subjects
- Exam preparation sessions, including practice exams, in the lead up to the big day!
- Phone and email support 7 days a week
MY LOCATION, COSTS AND AVAILABILITY!
I am able to travel to you or meet in local libraries around Bentleigh East, Brighton, Mckinnon and surrounding areas – I also offer online tutoring.
- Individual: $50
- Online (individual only): $40
- Groups 2: $80
- Groups 3-4: $105
My availability during school periods is typically 3-7 pm Monday – Thursday, however, weekends could be arranged and potentially later times midweek if required. I am pretty flexible and can work with you also during school holidays as head start sessions for the coming term OR beginning exam preparation.
Whether your goal is to get a 45+ or just break the 30’s I will give my all to help try and make this happen and provide you with the skills to feel confident and calm when you walk into a SAC and even that exam room at the end of the year! I look forward to hearing from you soon to organise a time to meet and get started 🙂
So happy with our first tutoring session. Feeling more confident and looking forward to the year ahead.
1st session brilliant. Can’t wait for our next.
