Hey! I’m Lexie and I am in my first year of the Bachelor of Science at the University of Melbourne. I graduated from Secondary School last year with an ATAR of 97.80 and studied the following subjects: Australian History (47), English (44), Italian (43), Chemistry (41), Maths Methods (39) and Biology (39).
I offer **ONLINE TUTORING** via Zoom as well as in-person tutoring. Completing part of Year 12 online rather than in person has allowed me to further build upon my ability to communicate effectively and clearly. Whilst online learning presented some challenges, it is a great tool if used effectively, to deliver content and interact with peers, teachers and mentors.
I love being around people, especially kids, and am eager to continue learning and in doing so, sharing my knowledge and skills with others. I have lots of prior experience with kids, having babysat lots, and having two younger siblings myself. I am also a leader at my local Surf Life Saving Club and my workplace allows me to be surrounded by kids every day.
As a tutor, I aim to foster a compassionate and supportive environment, catering to each individual student’s capabilities, strengths and learning preferences. I always welcome/encourage feedback and believe this is integral in establishing and maintaining an impactful and effective tutor-tutee relationship.
I provide students with:
- A comprehensive set of notes (subject dependent)
- A great revision and exam preparation program (including preparation materials)
- Plenty of practice exam questions
Phone and email support 7 days a week.
Please get in contact if you have any questions, particularly around how I can help out you/your child in the desired subject – I would love to hear from you!
