Hello fellow students! If you’re looking for easy-going study sessions, look no further! I am currently a 3rd year Biomedical Science Student at Monash University and I am taking up tutoring because I always love watching my peers reach the “Aha!” moment whenever I help them overcome a particularly tedious problem. Since I am currently studying Biomedical Science, I specialise mainly in science subjects such as Human Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry and Physics. I can also tutor in VCE Math or Math methods. I have, in fact, scored near perfect grades in my Cambridge A-level subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Math) which is considered to be very challenging and relates very closely to the VCE curriculum. I come from the Republic of Mauritius, which is mainly a French speaking country, and therefore I can tutor French for high school french or basic French grammar and vocabulary. Aside from being my mother tongue, I have also won several awards from “l’Alliance Francaise”.
I am mostly free during weekdays, however, contact me beforehand if you have a specific schedule. I can tutor anywhere you feel comfortable, be it at your home or a public areas like a library. My lesson would be structured around your areas of weaknesses as well as polishing the parts in which you feel confident. My main goal therefore resides in making you feel more confident for your exams and help clear you of any doubts on any of your topics. I would preferably tutor secondary level students, but can make accommodations for primary students if need be.
MY LOCATION, COSTS AND AVAILABILITY!
I generally tutor in-face at my students’ home or at the Monash University Libraries, wherever feels more appropriate. My hourly rate is $50, plus up to$10 extra if your place is a bit far from me. I am generally free on weekdays, and Saturday afternoons, however feel free to contact me to discuss an appropriate time that suits your schedule. Thank you!
