Greetings student! Thank you for taking the time to visit my profile. I’m Kaitlyn, a passionate and dedicated tutor who strives to see students reach their full academic potential. I live in Melbourne and I love reading, outdoor adventures and live music.
ABOUT ME AND MY QUALIFICATIONS
I completed VCE in 2013, attaining an ATAR score of 97.1 and a study score of 45 in English Language, for which I was given the Dux Award. In 2013 I was offered to study the Bachelor of Health Science (Paramedicine) under the Chancellor’s Academic Scholarship. Since attending Victoria University I have maintained a High Distinction average in tandem with being elected the President of the Victoria University Student Paramedic Association
I understand the expectations of VCE students today and can empathise with the pressures and stresses they face daily. I also realise that each student is different and has a unique learning style. This is reflected in my teaching, which aims to incorporate what can often seem to be dry and dull content into engaging, relevant tutorials that draw on contemporary examples to facilitate a more holistic understanding of the subject.
I have a sound understanding of the unit content, and can assist in the following areas
-Short answer questions
-Essays and written expression
-SAC and exam preparation
AVAILABILITY, COST AND LOCATION
As I am a full-time university student, I prefer to tutor on weekends. However I am also available on Monday, Wednesday and Friday if necessary.
I am happy to meet students both in their homes, at my home or another mutually accessible location (such as local libraries)
I charge only $40 per hour for one-on-one tutoring, only $35 per person for group tutoring and Skype tutoring for only $35 per hour.
I also hold a current Victorian Driver’s License and Working With Children Check.
