My name is Henry, although I go by ‘Harry.’ I completed my Bachelor of Arts at the University of Melbourne, where I majored in Politics and History. I am currently undertaking an honors year in International Relations. Although I attended a Melbourne university, I grew up in Brisbane and attended Brisbane Grammar School. At school I was always more of a humanities person, with Modern History and English being my best subjects. I continued these interests into university.
As someone who is interested in humanities, particularly History, English and Social Studies, I am most comfortable in tutoring subjects in those topic areas. I believe that strong writing, research, critical thinking and analytical skills are absolutely essential in the modern job market, and I want to share my passion for humanities with those who recognise this and are willing to learn. I have learned, both as a student and as a tutor, that confidence along with a little bit of persistence is all that is required to gain these critical skills, and get high marks.
I provide students with
- Classwork and homework
- Thorough and critical reading
- Assignment help
- Research and analytical skills
- Written skills
- Oral presentation and communication skills
- Email/Phone/Zoom support 7 days a week
This year I have gained extensive experience in online classes, and I am most available and able to tutor in an online format. However, I do offer sessions to those who live in the west side of Brisbane, where I currently reside.
