Hi! My name is Harriet and I am a VCE English (49), Health and Human Development (50 and a Premier’s award) and Physical Education (43) tutor. I graduated from Sacred Heart College Geelong with an ATAR of 98.65. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Arts at Melbourne University and afterwards I hope to study my Masters of Teaching to become a high school teacher. I am super passionate about learning and I love helping other people to meet their academic goals. I have had extensive leadership experience as Year Level Leader in Year 10 and College Captain in Year 12 which has helped to develop my organisation, communication and time management skills. I am also a very friendly and open person and I promise to make our sessions fun, engaging and comfortable. Having also just finished year 12 I understand how stressful VCE can be and I would love to help you through any difficult periods as I am a huge advocate for looking after your mental and physical health and wellbeing.
For Health and Human Development and Physical Education tutoring I can provide students with a comprehensive set of notes and cue cards free of charge. For English I can provide detailed notes for:
Rear Window, Language Analysis and The Crucible/The Dressmaker
Each session will be tailored to your individual needs and I will also set homework tasks to enhance your learning and improve your results. For English, I will be very happy to read all of your set texts so that I can provide specific and insightful feedback and guidance. I will also be happy to answer any questions that you have or look over any of your work outside of tutoring sessions free of charge.
