Since I was young, I have always thoroughly enjoyed reading, with love for crime, fantasy, and YA fiction novels, with a keen interest in sci-fi and rom-com movies. Because of these interests, I developed a passion for history with a fascination of Medieval history, as well as the Revolutions of the world.
I graduated with a Masters of Secondary Teaching, specialising in junior (7-10) English and Humanities and VCE English/Literature and History.
My teaching philosophy involves creating a welcoming learning environment, ensuring that my lessons are designed for the individual student. This ensures that the students’ individual learning needs are being targeted, and the student is receiving personalised lesson plans.
Though I graduated as a Secondary Teacher, I felt that I was not able to cater to individual student needs in a classroom of so many students. Therefore, using my skills of teaching techniques, specialised teaching resources, and knowledge of the curriculum, I am better able to equip students with the skills and knowledge they need to excel in their subjects.
It is my aim as an educator to ensure my students are feeling confident and competent in the subjects they are learning with me. Together, we will aim to grow and develop key skills and knowledge in your subject areas.
