Thanks for taking a look at my profile. My name is Elissa and I am the proud mum of a very sweet, compassionate, hilarious and clever little guy named Jai (he’s 9). My wonderful husband Jamie, Jai, Dumpling (cat!) and I live in lovely Coburg. I completed the Master of Teaching (Primary) degree at the prestigious University of Melbourne in 2017, graduating with first class honours. Since then I have been working as a casual relief teacher (CRT) at various schools in the northern suburbs of Melbourne (predominantly) and as a tutor.
I tend to build a strong rapport with children quickly. I believe they respond well to me as I am caring, funny (well, at least I think so!) and a good listener. I have the ability to instil confidence in children who may be down on themselves due to a multitude of reasons as a result of my genuine warmth and desire to see children become the best versions of themselves. I love working with children and feel honoured to be in a position to positively affect their academic, social and emotional development.
I hope to hear from you soon.
MY LOCATION, COSTS AND AVAILABILITY!

My hourly rate: $60.
Availability: From March 23rd – March 27th, 2020 I will be free from 4:30pm onwards (I may be free throughout the day also as CRT work will most likely be light given that it’s the last week of school holidays). I am completely free during the Easter school holidays with the exception of April 2nd and 3rd and of course, Easter Sunday (12th).
NB: Regarding Term 3, I will update my availability when further information is provided by the government with regard to school closures.
