Hi! I'm Elise, a Years 7-10 and VCE German, and Biology Tutor. I tutor because I love the ability to be able to explain concepts and problems to other people.

  • Fill 1Biology
  • Fill 1German

My name is Elise and I am a university student at Monash. I am currently doing a Bachelor of Education (Honours) in Secondary Health and Physical Education. I have experience in tutoring a variety of age groups, including primary and VCE students and have completed many hours of volunteering in a classroom setting. I tutor because I love the ability to be able to explain concepts and problems to other people, thus deciding to become a teacher and using tutoring to perfect on my skills that will be required when sharing my knowledge in a school environment. I graduated high-school in 2019 with an ATAR of 88.

The subjects that I am offering assistance for are:

  • German (study score 42)
  • Biology (study score 38)

I offer both in-person and and online tutoring so that my services are more versatile and it allows me to have greater flexibility when timetabling lessons.

I am located within the City of Casey area, thus I will be advertising to students located in Berwick, Beaconsfield, Pakenham, Narre Warren, Dandenong, Cranbourne and Hallam surroundings. Personally I believe the experience, sharing knowledge and building content confidence is more important so I don’t want students to be discouraged by the pricing. In saying this, I charge $30 per hour for singular lessons and $25 per hour for group lessons. These prices are applicable to both in-person and online lessons.

I am very time-flexible so I am able to provide tutoring Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays (after school hours 3:30pm-8:30pm) and Saturday and Sundays (8:30am-10:30am and 3:30pm-7:30pm). If there are any other times or availabilities I will be able to compromise.

I wish everyone a healthy and successful academic year and want my fellow students to understand that everyone has strengths and weakness, and recognising your own abilities will provide you with the right mentality to achieve your goals. Setbacks are inevitable and failure is a part of life, however your mistakes will not define you and through challenges you will be able to grow and enhance your skills and understanding.
