I am from Malaysia and migrated to Australia about 7 years ago along with my family and the most adorable silky terrier fur friend. After graduating high school with a outstanding ATAR achievement of 97.05 in 2018, I am currently studying a double degree in Commerce and Information Technology in Monash University as a scholarship recipient.
However, in heart, ever since volunteering in Saturday Sudanese School as a tutor for Sudanese refugees, I have a burning passion for teaching. Other than that, the nostalgia of high school and heartache to know that one day, a bulk of content learnt in high school will be forgotten pushed me to begin tutoring.
As a student myself, I understand the pressures, expectations and frustrations of students. Therefore, I find it fitting to engage with my students not only as a teacher, but also as a friend because we are all in this process of learning together. I am confident in gearing you down the road to academic excellence as desired even if it means adding hours in preparing resources or materials.
MY LOCATION, COSTS AND AVAILABILITY!
I live in Mount Waverley, though I am limited by public transport, I am perfectly happy to travel to nearby suburbs/areas such as Glen Waverley/Syndal, Burwood and Clayton for in-house or in-person, at a library for instance, tutoring sessions. Else, I am also available for online tutoring sessions.
Generally, I am available all day on the weekend and after 2 pm on Thursdays and Fridays, however, my times are also rather flexible. I charge $35 per hour for individual sessions.
