Graduating from Perth Modern School in 2019, I obtained an ATAR of 99.55, with a state Certificate of Distinction for my efforts. I achieved a scaled score of 100 in Literature, an 88.2 in Modern History and an 88 in French Second Language. I am now commencing tertiary study at the University of Western Australia in their Bachelor of Philosophy program, majoring in English and French.
I have a passion for language and the written word and am eager to help students cultivate the skills which will allow them to appreciate and analyse literature. A good command of language is something which is necessary for writing essays, which are also a key component to the study of Modern History, as well as English and Literature.
I believe that the literacy skills cultivated throughout ATAR are skills which should carry a student through life, so my aim is not just to guide students in regards to individual assessments and tests, but rather to help them become a perceptive and discerning reader and writer.
My main focus is on the individual needs of each student, and I will do my best to adapt my teaching to these. I am engaging and positive, and I love incorporating a bit of fun into any study!
I am flexible with my time schedule; we could discuss a time that is suitable for us both. I will do my best to accommodate you to my schedule.
