Hi! My name is Cleo and last year I completed VCE, graduating with an ATAR of 99.00 and achieving raw scores of over 40 in 5 of my subjects. This year I will begin a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Melbourne, completing a concurrent Diploma of Languages in French.
I am passionate about the studies of English and French, and would love to share my positive experiences and tips for these subjects with you!
In 2019 I received a raw score of 46 in VCE French with perfect SAC scores, winning the language award for my school and placing second in the Berthe Mouchette Alliance Française oral competition after having won the year prior.
This year I will continue my studies of French with a diploma at the University of Melbourne. As a recent VCE student, I understand thoroughly the demands of the VCE course and assessment criteria, including those of the oral assessors.
I am highly familiar with preparation for SACs and the oral and written exam, and understand the study process needed to maximise scores in these assessments.
If you need help with French conversation, grammar, writing or even simply understanding the requirements of the course and marking criteria of assessors, I can help!
English and Literature
I received raw scores of 45 in English and 41 in Literature in 2019, and plan to continue my study of literature within an Arts degree at the University of Melbourne.
I understand the skills needed in developing a confident essay-writing style, including the time-management needed to excel in SACs and exams.
I understand the importance of first perfecting the building blocks of a successful essay before refining vocabulary and style which will enable the highest possible marks.
MY LOCATION, COSTS AND AVAILABILITY!
I am based in North Melbourne and am happy to travel to the CBD and surrounding suburbs for in-home tutoring. I am also free to meet in libraries or cafés if that is preferable. My schedule is highly flexible, with availability on nearly all weekdays. For individual lessons I charge $50 per hour.
