Hi there! I’m Camilla and I graduated from high school (Anglo Chinese School (International)) in 2014 having completed IB Diploma Program scoring 7 points in Biology HL, 7 points in Chemistry HL. I am currently doing 4th year medicine (Bmed/MD) in UNSW.
I teach Biology, Chemistry for IB students and Junior high school students. I also teach primary school students.
I am passionate about the Sciences and Arts and I love to share this passion with high school students who have yet to discover their love for the subject. I believe that establishing proper understanding of concepts in sciences is crucial in improving grades. I understand that this requires patience and innovative teaching methods – both of which are my strong suits.
I am always available for my students online (contact via phone, email, Facebook), and ensure I have structure to my lesson so as to make the most of the time given to me. I use my own notes and provide revision exercises for the topics taught. I am also available over the phone to answer questions for students between lessons.
I believe in the importance of creating trust between myself and the student which I’d establish much early on in our journey. I usually have my students set tangible and realistic goals and milestones for themselves so that they can witness their progress and believe in themselves more.
MY LOCATION, COSTS AND AVAILABILITY!
I tutor at UNSW Library in Kensington and Randwick City Library in Randwick. I also hold Skype lessons (with much success!)
I charge $60.00/hour for lessons in-person and $50.00/hour for Skype lessons which include the resources and material that I provide my students.
Looking forward to spreading the passion I have for the Sciences to my students!
Hoping to hear from you soon!
