Hi! My name is Ben, 18 years-old, and a freshmen studying Bachelors and Masters of Engineering at the University of Queensland (UQ). My fields of academic involves a diverse range of subjects that include Math C, Math B, Physics, Music and Japanese, which I can be of service for tutoring. In these selection of subjects, I have attained a consistent grade of VHA that vary in ranks from 1, 3, 4, 6 and 8 respectively. This has led me to an OP 3 with adjustments factors raising my ATAR up to at least 97. Such adjustments are made due to the choice in subjects, that is Math C and Japanese, in addition to a psychology course that I undertook in the first semester of year 12 at UQ. I graduated from high school in 2018, whilst receiving the instrumental music award, a certificate of excellence in Physics, and the class of honours for achieving five VHA’s (Grade A) in my QCE.
Throughout this journey of academic diversity, I had evolved a special desire for learning at a fundamental level of physics and mathematics. Always asking questions and thinking deeply in any one subject, I had developed a passion to conceptualise various topics from calculus to special relativity. As such, I am able to offer tutoring in areas that may require simplifying problems and in general detailed explanations involving physics or mathematics. I can assist in the understanding of these subjects by breaking down key information and logic, as well as broadening knowledge for furthering in this field.
