Hi future student! :)

My name is Arielle and I graduated from high school in 2015. High school was a really positive experience for me and I learnt so many valuable lessons during my HSC years. However, I also know that it can be a really stressful time and so would love to be able to help you out so you can also look back on it and remember more than just the panic and pressure.

I graduated as Dux of my year with an ATAR of 98.10 and Band 6s for all subject studied – English advanced, English Extension I, English Extension II, Ancient History, Modern History, Extension History and Studies of Religion. I only studied English and Humanities for my HSC which meant that my entire year consisted of ONLY essay writing.

So if this is something you struggle with I can definitely help you out! Extension history was also a subject that was not offered at my school (because I was the only person crazy enough to do it). This meant that I had to teach myself the course and complete the assignments completely independently. Although challenging, this process taught me excellent study skills that I’d be happy to pass along to you. Even more importantly, it helped me to develop tricks for remaining self-motivated and managing my time.

I am now currently studying a Bachelor of Communications with a double major in Creative Writing and Social & Political science (more writing!) At its core this degree is really about how to articulate your thoughts clearly and get your message across – both ideas at the heart of good essay writing. As I have chosen to specialise in Creative Writing I will also be able to share the valuable lessons my university professors have taught me when it comes to crafting a story. Creative writing is something that CAN be taught and you shouldn’t have to dread this module in your HSC!

I can help you with:

  • essay writing
  • creative writing
  • english analysis
  • deconstructing texts
  • memorisation techniques
  • learning and summarising content
  • using evidence (history)
  • writing effective notes

I am available to meet you anywhere along the Upper North Shore, from Berowra to Chatswood!

Individual – $60 per hour

I also hold a valid Working With Children Check.

Looking forward to hearing from you and helping you get through your high school years!
