I graduated from Springwood State High School last year. I am a first-year university student studying a Dual Bachelor in Engineering with Honours and Information Technology at the University of Queensland. I know exactly how it is like going through high school and can relate really well to most students. I am a very patient and understanding person, and am able to tailor my tutoring to the needs of the student.
I tutor all high school students from grades 7 to 12. With the changes in curriculum, it would be best to say that I tutor Mathematics and English for all grades. In addition, I also tutor Physics for grades 11 and 12. Throughout my high school experience I have maintained a high grade in Mathematics, English, and Physics and have graduated with a VHA (Mathematics) and a HA (English and Physics).
I think that every student has the ability to get really high grades; it all depends on how much they are willing to apply themselves. As a tutor, I am not only here to answer questions relating to subjects, but to motivate and to set students on to a path for inevitable success. I am always looking to bring out the best in students and I can do that through study plans and by creating organisation skills for the student. I learnt very quickly in university that organisation is key, and I am looking to prepare future students for tertiary studies or what ever they wish to go into.
I look forward to working with everyone and hope I am able to set you all on the pathway to success.
MY LOCATION, COSTS AND AVAILABILITY!
I am more than happy to tutor most weekends (except those leading to my exams). I would like to tutor at the local libraries, mainly the Loganholme or Springwood library. I charge $45 an hour though I ensure all their questions will be answered. I am able to do group tutoring starting at an additional $30 per student per hour.
I am flexible with some weekdays, Please message me for more information. I look forward to hearing from you all!
