KEY VTAC DATES FOR 2017/2018 APPLICATIONS!

Here are all the dates you need for VTAC applications, so get your phone/ calendar/ notebook/ whatever you use to mark important days out and add these in.
More often than not missing these dates is both annoying and expensive, and in some cases the consequences are irreversible.
Not to instil terror in you all, but VTAC applications are coming (dun-dun-dun!) and you do not want to miss anything.
Course applications will most likely be done at school, but make sure to keep on top of this in your own time so you have plenty of time to change or add anything!
Applications open: 9 am, Monday 7 August 2017
Timely applications close: 5 pm, Thursday 28 September 2017
Timely application fee: $35 for current Year 12 students; $53 for all other applicants
(Note: It is still possible to have a late course application up until November, but the fee will go up to $103 and be an all-around hassle for you and your school.)
Change of preference:
Change of preference will be open between the 7th of August and the 3rd of November 2017, as well as between offers!

VTAC Personal Statement and supporting documentation for course applications:
Submission date to be considered for early offers: 5 pm, Thursday 28 September 2017
SEAS closing date: 5 pm, Tuesday 10 October 2017
Scholarships closing date: 5 pm, Friday 13 October 2017
(SEAS and scholarships are open on the 7th of August)
VCE results and ATAR:
The release of ATAR and VCE results: 7 am, Friday 15 December 2017 (online)
Change of preference closing date (Round 1): 12 pm, Wednesday 20 December 2017
IB Notional ATAR results: 10 am, 4 January 2018 (online)
The release of Round 1 offers: Tuesday 16 January 2018
